Had BT broadband since Dec 09 only got it as we had moved to a new house and they give us free line connection (£122) in the first 2 months constantly lost connection and had to ring India for it to be sorted out. Finally they did something about it and all had worked since then, internet speeds are quite slow though and the 10GB cap per month is stupid!!! and to top it all off still not received our cashback yet even though it should have been payable at the end of February. Cant wait till we can leave for a better company.

Cashback wasn't registered as expected as I purchased via a chat session on BT's site. They assured me that my cashback would be registered but it wasn't. A missing cashback claim seems to have sorted everything out though :).
Plus a very high cashback amount! woop!

Was due £45 for Total Broadband only order - did not track for a while. However, Topcashback were great, and after submitting an enquiry with all the details, it's now tracked and not far off being claimed, which is great! Can't wait! :)

Ordered Broadband for in-laws through Topcashback on 28th Feb, and after confirmation, it said BB would be delivered today, 9th March.No BB arrived so rang to find out what was going on, and they said order status was pending.I said it's supposed to go live today,and wheres the box to set up.He then told me there's a problem,and order was cancelled.
The e-mail I received said order was fine, received ref no, and Direct debit set-up confirmation.So there was NO problem with the order.They said they would re-do the order over the phone, but I said no.i am wondering if this was done just to get out of paying me cashback, as if they had re-done the order over the phone no doubt the cashback wouldn't have been paid.BT HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY USELESS in the handling of this, I will go elsewhere for the broadband.

Not received cashback yet but understood it would be slow, not sure why. So far broadband and phone service fine, faster than Talktalk and customer service considerably better, which wouldnt be difficult.

Quite happy with equipment and reliability of service. NOT happy with level of customer service setting up the account as they cancelled my first attempt without tellin me then mucked up the e-mail side of things on my new order. No-one kept me up to date despite promising to, and I spent a LOT of time on the phone to India trting to get things sorted. As long as you keep tabs on everything you should be OK, but if you spot anything untoward during the order process, follow it up immediately and don;t assume BT will do anything about it.
