6 months and still pending uplift.
Purchased follow all of the conditions required and over 6 months on the cashback is still on *pending uplift. Unsure if I will ever see this cash back now.

Been waiting for 4 months , dosent pay out so is a complete con !
Showed as pending for 4 months then gets rejected with no payout, 2nd time this has happened to me

Stays "awaiting uplift" for months then declined
I immediately bought a motor policy after being transferred from the Top Cashback page. Stayed in "awaiting uplift" for over 6 months the declined. Very poor

Good comparison site but DON'T rely on the cashback
If you take the confused.com reward you won't get any cashback, but the TCB is not good that you have to wait 90 days, as if it's then rejected, you also lose out on the confused.com reward you could've claimed within the first 90 days!

Tracked correctly and rejected without any reson
What a suprise from topcashback, next retailer delined cashback without any reason after a few months , this is completly joke . My car insurance was tracked correctly and now is delined without any reason , what a joke !!!

Confused.com charlatans
If you are banking on receiving cashback from this lot in your choice of comparison site I have a cautionary tale. In a few months after querying why the transaction has not tracked you will very possibly receive the following, as I did: "Query rejected - Did not meet the terms and conditions set by the merchant". Of course its a load of bull, no such terms were infringed. As for tcb doing anything about it dream on!

Worth the wait
It took about 3 months for this to come through but was worth the wait. Make sure you don't use the additional offers that come with the insurance as this will cancel the cashback option.

Took a very long time to pay out
This took so long to track and then become payable, that I had forgotten how much cashback I was meant to be getting. But I do think I got the right amount in the end !

Worked rather than last time (year)!

Cashback claimed but...
You will receive it but it took a while for it to appear and the waiting game is quite long so just be patient and try to contact help for update or if it's taking longer than shown payable date. Also it mentioned that cashback is £37 but I received £36.75 and they also taken £5 as a member fee, from what I remembered you have the option if yo want to pay for the £5 fee or not, you just get less reward and cashback fee if your not a member. Overall I'm happy that I got cash, better than nothing.

Hit or miss
I purchased a few times over the years from confused.com and I'd say it's a hit or miss payout, sometimes they do sometimes they don't, won't use them again as it's more don't then will payout.

Car insurance renewal was 1st April and received cashback confirmation notification today and money on way. Its a pity the house insurance wasnt as fast as still waiting for cashback from beginning of February!!!

I got a good price for my insurance and cashback on top was a lovely bonus. Tracked as £0 on purchase. Expected amount then went straight to payout within the expected timescale. Read the rules so you're not disappointed :-)

Takes 6+ months to get cashback approved then more to get paid
I made the transaction in January 2024. At the time there was no T&C on topcashback clearly stating that if you claimed a reward from Confused then you would not get cashback. There was also nothing on Confused that said this until after I claimed one of their benefits, and then I saw a screen saying I would not get any cashback if I had applied for it. I immediately emailed Confused telling them to cancel the benefit and to clearly state BEFORE customers chose a benefit that this was the case. They begrudgingly said they would but not sure now although I can see topcashback now has made this clear. I then lodged a missing cashback claim a week later - still in Jan - and it has taken upto today (June 26) to get the cashback confirmed. Not sure when it will be paid out, maybe in 8/9 months since the transaction date?? Completely UNACCEPTABLE and far longer than the 12 weeks stated on this site. Will not bother with Confused again - their name is really apt considering all this mess.

Cancels cashback for no reason!
Please instead go to Gocompare.com or money supermarket or any other searching site. Cancels cashback with no reason and it was a legit claim. Scammers. Makes it look enticing but doesn’t deliver. Please be aware.

Very slow payout - from Sept 23 to payment June 2024
Very disappointed that it took so long to get the £36 on a new policy via TopCashback. There is a ticket/support system on Top Cashback and the first opportunity to chase up and progress a claim was Jan 10th 2024 (for the new policy to have been in place at least 3 months) so it goes 'on ice' until that time. I sent a message on the 11th January 2024 to ask for the investigation/claim to be activated and received a message back on the 12th that my claim had been set to 'ready to submit' but that I was entering a queue and that if I sent further messages I would end up at the back of the queue. Nervous of that possibility, I sent two 'nudges' (a feature which apparently doesn't result in claim going to back of queue) on 16th Feb and 13th April. No response from anyone. This week, 17th June I receive an update that the £36 would be progressing to 'payable' in the coming days. I'm not sure if this is ususal but it does make me think twice about using TopCashback in future. I have asked in the TopCashback support ticket if a manager could review my journey but no response as yet.
