	Don't use the app if you want cashback! Through trial and error I have found that cashback not only doesn't track if you use the app, but Hotels.com will ALWAYS decline the cashback amount. 5 bookings in the last 12 months, 3 through app, all declined. 2 made on my desktop Apple Mac using Safari and all tracked successfully and paid within 3 months of completed stay.

	Dreadful Cashback now rarely, if ever, tracks and disputes have to be opened. This drags on for months and often results in Cashback being declined on the grounds that ‘ Transaction cannot be traced’. This company has become a joke and the change in its own rewards programme has also turned a pretty decent regards programme into something not with bothering with. You are better to book direct with the hotel.

	Cashback does not always track Every time I cancel a booking it is because cashback did not track. In general, this happens a lot. Also, cashback earned can take many month sometime years to be up for payout :(

	Reliable cashback I usually book hotels with hotels.com purely for the fact that they are reliable with their cashback payouts through topcashback. I've used other hotel booking agents and they've denied all knowledge of my cashback claims which is very frustrating.

	Slow but steady No issues, great cash back rates. Took about 6 weeks to be Payable from date of hotel check out. Would happily use again.

	Slow payout, try the site without going through topcashback Pay out takes many months and they often say it "didn't track" resulting in no pay out. Also check booking direct with the site as clicking through tcb seems to add the cashback % to the total (eg £450 via tcb, £400 direct). Have used hotels.com for 10+ years and they are certainly not what they were (loyalty programme has gone to one tenth of its value as well)

	waiting 10 weeks since 19th March 2024!! Still not received I booked a hotel with Hotels.com on 19th March 2024, and I was informed of a 10 week wait for my cashback. I still have not received anything. Pretty hopeless. I would not have given it any stars if I could have.

	Very poor - misrepresented cashback rate Advertised cashback rate was not paid out - should have been 10% as advertised on the site at the time of click thru. But of course there's no way for customer to know that because months later the rates change and there's no historical record. from TCB point of view its a get what you're given rate.

	Far too slow to pay cashback I booked my hotel in October 2023. Holiday was in July 2024. It's now the end of September 2024 and I've still not received the £200ish cashback. Unacceptably slow! Once money is taken for a non-cancellable holiday then cashback should be forthcoming. But at the very least it should be paid once the holiday is completed!
