Cannot be paid out through PayPal
Really bad that paying out to a PayPal account is not supported for this merchant. Will probably stop using TopCashback for hotel.com.

Very Poor
Took well over a year for Cashback and still waiting for the other half - one year and counting! Puts you off trying to claim any cashback at all.

took forever to get the cashback
I took a long time for this cash back to move to confirmed and then a long time for it to go to payable. I've just cashed out (mid january) on transactions from early September last year. I would say it was a good cashback percentage though and it calculated correctly.

Slow and failing to track accurately
As others have said it’s incredibly slow to move from pending to confirmed never mind payable.
In recent months the cash back amount has also been tracking lower than the advertised amount.
Needs to improve.

Very poor
Hotels.com are the worst site for processing cash back its taken me nearly 6mths to get the cash back, and even then it was customer services who put it to payable status due to the time waited. If I was TopCash I would NOT have Hotels.Com as one of their offerings as they must cause them a lot of aggravation !!

Great rates of Cashback, getting it is a little slow
Hotels.com always offer great deals on Cashback. My only real gripe with it is the time it takes to get said cashback can be > 5 months after the stay. Also was able once upon a time to swap cashback for a hotels.com gift card. These seem to have stopped sadly as it was a great way of reducing a cost of a stay, getting great deals which you do with Hotels.com, and overall experience was beneficial.

Fail to pay again
Consistently fail to payout. Blanket terms not met repo we each time. Have always fully complied with terms and conditions. Might be worth using a different site to book in future and certainly don’t count in this lot paying… disappointing doesn’t really cover it

Slow to pay up. Give me what I am entitled to!
I paid nearly £1000 in February 2023 using Hotels.com and I use them because of the various 'perks' that they provide like money back with Topcashback and an extra night for every 10 stayed but they are slow to pay up. I don't know why I have to wait 10 months for a transaction that says they will reimburse after about 11 weeks? May rethink about whether to use them again. I used them in good faith too. Not happy.

Not what it seems
I have booked several hotel rooms with this supplier,. Each one has offered 10%cashback. Each one has failed to pay 10% cashback: the cashback has tracked at 2%.
Top cashback know about the problem and recommend that a claim is raised. This I have done. Still waiting for the issue to be resolved. One of the bookings dates back to May 2023!

Almost always tracks at the wrong rate
Whenever I purchase from hotels.com, the cashback almost always tracks at the wrong (lower) rate - this applies to increased promotional rates and purchases far enough into the future to qualify for the higher rate.
I've been able to get the corrected amount after submitting claims, but it's frustrating and happens with pretty much every purchase.
The only time it tracks correctly is if I'm booking a last minute hotel which only qualifies for the lower rate anyway!

A mess up
Firstly it tracked at the wrong rate. When Top cashback chased them they corrected it. Then it wasn't paid a long time after it should have been. Top cashback actually paid me what was owed out of good faith so i don't know if Hotels ever paid what was owed. Poor service all round in my opinion.

Cashback since Jan still pending
Not sure how much I trust this merchant. Booked a hotel stay in Jan for June. Says 10 weeks however still pending. And so now I have to chase?! Makes its seem worthless
