Fail to pay again
Consistently fail to payout. Blanket terms not met repo we each time. Have always fully complied with terms and conditions. Might be worth using a different site to book in future and certainly don’t count in this lot paying… disappointing doesn’t really cover it

Slow to pay up. Give me what I am entitled to!
I paid nearly £1000 in February 2023 using Hotels.com and I use them because of the various 'perks' that they provide like money back with Topcashback and an extra night for every 10 stayed but they are slow to pay up. I don't know why I have to wait 10 months for a transaction that says they will reimburse after about 11 weeks? May rethink about whether to use them again. I used them in good faith too. Not happy.

Not what it seems
I have booked several hotel rooms with this supplier,. Each one has offered 10%cashback. Each one has failed to pay 10% cashback: the cashback has tracked at 2%. Top cashback know about the problem and recommend that a claim is raised. This I have done. Still waiting for the issue to be resolved. One of the bookings dates back to May 2023!

Almost always tracks at the wrong rate
Whenever I purchase from hotels.com, the cashback almost always tracks at the wrong (lower) rate - this applies to increased promotional rates and purchases far enough into the future to qualify for the higher rate. I've been able to get the corrected amount after submitting claims, but it's frustrating and happens with pretty much every purchase. The only time it tracks correctly is if I'm booking a last minute hotel which only qualifies for the lower rate anyway!

A mess up
Firstly it tracked at the wrong rate. When Top cashback chased them they corrected it. Then it wasn't paid a long time after it should have been. Top cashback actually paid me what was owed out of good faith so i don't know if Hotels ever paid what was owed. Poor service all round in my opinion.

Cashback since Jan still pending
Not sure how much I trust this merchant. Booked a hotel stay in Jan for June. Says 10 weeks however still pending. And so now I have to chase?! Makes its seem worthless

Definitely Recommend
Booked seven hotels, two rooms per hotel, via Hotels.com for a trip to Italy in September 2023 - TCB was offering really generous cashback at time of booking meaning I was delighted with the outcome. All have tracked just waiting now for confirmation and pay out which hopefully will not take too much longer. I believe Hotels.com to be extremely competitive price wise with the added bonus of a free room booking for every 10 bookings you make which feels like a decent added incentive.

Still pending 4 Hotels.com cashbacks from March.......
So I got one cashback from April but four still "pending" from March bookings... Seeing as they were all for a holiday in August it makes no sense. Not sure its worth the claim process either as the ones that were due from both Confused.com and Parkdean resorts that were claimed as unpaid were just rejected. Starting to lose a bit of faith in the whole topcashback process after a promising start.....

Another dreadful experience with Hotels.com - and it will get worse soon.
Hotels.com has denied me over £130 cashback because of THEIR system problems and as they are soon to change the reward programme down to One Key then I will no longer use them for bookings. Check out One Key for yourself and you will see what a difference it will make to you.

Great site for hotels and cashbask!!
it's all pretty straight forward really. use the cashback site, click on hotels.com and book your room. And they regularly have extra cashback rates too for limited times. I would definitely recommend A++

Not always working
Using all the time Hotels.com for my bookings decided to give it a go and try to book it through TopCashback. In the past everything was working fine, every purchase was recorded in TopCashback. This year 2 out of 3 are not recorded into TopCasback.

There has been several occasions when Hotels.com has promised 10% cashback. However, this only seems to happen, and only after several months, if you query the transaction: the purchases track at usual 2%.

Mostly good
Most of the time the cashback registers and is payable but on occasions it hasn't, which has been very annoying as whenever I lodge a missing cashback claim it never seems to be successful. That's probably Topcashback's fault though. On the whole though, a reliable cashback payer.

Hotel bookings
Good offers, but take forever to become payable and almost always after a lot of messages between myself and Topcashback, regarding the amount tracking at the correct value. Tracks at 2% when it should be at 10 or 11%. Has been an issue for a few years now. Not ideal, but I think the issue is more with Hotels.com than Topcashback.

Stopped working
Up until around March 2023, the tracking of this cashback worked seamlessly (although the actual amounts of funds becoming available to me were incredibly slow). However, now no tracking works at all and I am constantly putting in support claims to ensure the I receive the cashback. I've booked using multiple devices (laptops, computers, mobile phones, etc) and different browsers on those devices, so it appears to be an issue between topcashback and hotels.com. If I could zero stars then I would.

1 can get the site to track but when I go to pay I can’t log into my Hotels.Com account. This means I lose my loyalty rewards.
