Disappointing and suspect
Do not expect cash back on higher priced items. They claimed to topcashback that they did not see the claim through them despite it showing up as recorded on topcashback's end by the date and time of day. To note other retailers on the same day and even hour recorded other purchases I made on the same device and acknowledged all other claims I made and came through fine.

Pet insurance declined
Poor from John Lewis. Been waiting for more than 6 months only to find out that my cash back claim has been declined. One of the main reasons I went with them was the generous cash back offered. Feel ripped off now.

Don’t Bother
Went for pet insurance with JLP and have had £68 worth of cashback “Pending” for 6 months now. Chased up with Support desk to be told:
“This retailer has expired from our site now, which has caused inevitable delays with cashback processing. I apologise for the inconvenience caused.”

Great service from John Lewis and topcashback. At the moment, have paid out every time. I always leave a review now when I have a pay out or not with any merchant.

Cash back received this time, although I have had previous claims denied. Never really got an answer, so happy but consider their cash back a bonus and don’t factor it into your budget / item price.

Refused my cashback with unjustified excuse
Refused my cashback because they said the policy was non commissionable (whatever that means) and/ or I used another voucher. That is complete rubbish.
I did not use any voucher or promotion other than clicking through via TCB.
It was set up as take any dog policy up to a certain level of cover and get the relevant TCB for that level of cover.
Shame on you John Lewis !

Takes forever to reach confirmation status - then it's £0 payout
This is not the first TCB deal that's failed to payout despite clicking through to order & pay from one tab immediately. Cleared cache etc ensured both signed into accounts. You win some. You loose some. Done well for free stuff out of TCB over the years - so will keep using. As others have said this was a high value purchase - so perhaps they thought I'd already had a good enough discount compared to other retailers

Spent £550 on an iPhone as an Xmas present. Just realised John Lewis declined the payment for god knows why. IMO offering cashback and then not paying can only be described as a scam. Won't be buying anything from these cowboys again

The offer clearly states that cashback is available on all goods. I bought £500 worth of items and got literally £0 since they declined to pay anything, a bloody scam! This has happened 2 times now! Avoid and try somewhere else, they don't need your money

The john lewis cashback has never completed even though my order details are still showing up on my top cashback account. The purchase date was 10 DEC 23 and was last updated on the 12 MAY 24.

JL do not track or pay
I only have a TCB affiliated account, JL did not track so I raised a ticket, reply TCB was not the last referral. I clear cookies/cache etc. and this is not the first time on large transactions TCB/retailer does not pay. It seems to only track on small purchases.
