I had this last year got a great price and cashback came through no problem. Its time for renewal and its cheaper than anything on the comparison sites. Thought maybe I could cheat the system and just put in for a new quote and maybe swap mine and my husbands names around but the new quote price is a lot more expensive than my renewal! Will probably go with them again but no cashback this time :(

purchased twice with this insurer as the price was great taking into account the £45 on offer. Both times they have not tracked and had to manual claim. Understand TCB will not contact M&S for 3months now!!!

This was my very first transaction and it was so easy! and the cashback in my account appeared by the next day. It was a bit scary at first as I was hoping that I hadn't made the purchase using the insurance saved quote because it was explained that if I did then the cashback offer would not apply, but I hadn't and all worked out well in the end. Product great and cashback service great, thank you!!!

It says that there is a qualifying period of 3 months from the end of the month when the policy starts before cashback is paid. I took out the policy in July and the cashback became payable today, 10th of November.

Ive now been trying fora week to take out their premium policy for pet insurance. Each time I have entered my direct debit details and each time they have given me a policy number. The thing is, it never appears on their database so the policy is never complete. I never receive a confirmation email. I have called them each time only for them to say they havent got any record of a policy for my dog. The cashback always appears in my account within 24 hours. Im getting really fed up now!!!!

Took out contents only insurance for a family member after using comparison website. Offered best value for what we wanted, and website very easy and clear. Documents received within a couple of days. Cashback showed next day, only negative point is the long wait for it to become payable.

Cashback tracked quickly, though took roughly 6 months to become payable. Good level of cashback, and didn't need to chase. Can't comment on the insurance as have had no need to claim.

Awful cashback experience. I agree with other posters, if you are choosing M&S for cashback I wouldn't bother. Took out house insurance (buildings & contents) in February, now in August and still no cashback payment! Insurance half the price of Nationwide though and more hassle free to set up, chose M&S because of the well known reputable household name.

I have no criticism of the product and would buy M & S insurance again. However, I waited almost 7 months to receive cashback and I think that is not good enough, particulary as the original timescale was 90 days. In my opinion M & S need to be more honest about cashback payment dates.
