Seem unable to take up cashback offer without resorting to 'pay monthly' deal, so extra £100 cost by paying monthly for £42 cashback = me £58 worse off!

Tracked at 0.00 at first but contacted TopCashBack and they were excellent in chasing the cashback with the RAC and kept Me informed all the way.Soon I had an email from them telling Me that the money was now tracking.Brilliant.!!..Well done TopCashBack..Superb service.Thankyou.

For brand new customers only. If you already have an RAC policy and wish to buy a new separate policy for another car you will be blocked from doing so online and so blocked from receiving any cashback. So much for customer loyalty - time to go elsewhere. Topcashback think this ok, even though there is no mention of exsiting customers being excluded in the blurb - only renewals.

Bought insurance 24 Sep 2011, failed to track. Submitted claim, and after a monthly nudge, here 3 months later the transaction has shown up, due to be paid at end of January 2012. At last, but very frustrating that this seems to be the norm for my recent experiences on TCB. Only hope that it does pay up as stated.

Have to say I'm very disappointed with TCB over this one! Up until now they have greatly impressed since I deserted a rival cashback site to come here. Took out car insurance on 26/4/11, tracked quickly at the correct amount but a few months later went payable at £0.00! Despite repeated claims/nudges this amount remains the same, NIL. I'm giving it to the end of the month and if nothing has happened I will be going directly to RAC HQ. Not a happy bunny.

I got insurance through this cashback site and never received any cashback. I would never recommend the customer service dept so mush so next year i will not renew the car ins or the breakdown cover

Tracked within a few hours. Initially comes up as £0 but this updates when payable, and payment has now come through as stated. Good service thanks.

i purchased car insurance through rac and was disappointed that it didnt track as i seem to find with a lot of insurance companies. I submitted a claim to tcb and now some months later has become payable so at least they did pay it in the end.

Although the cashback offer was clear, I had to raise a query to get the amount promised. this was what should have been a simple exercise but ended up being far more stressful than it deserved.

this purchase of insurance never tracked at all for a full 3 months when it suddenly appeared.it was only due to reading other comments that i realised what was happening.also top cashback chasing it up probably helped.if u have bought a legit policy through this method,hang in there and u will get paid.dont think its right to be in the dark for 3 months like!good luck.

Will never purchase from them again.

Wish I'd read the reviews, another one whose cashback seemed to be progressing OK then suddenly 3 mths later showed as £0. Have submitted a claim so will see if that does anything. After reading all the reviews I think it's time Top Cashback stopped dealing with them. Every other cashback has tracked and paid out with no problem until now.

I like many other TCB'ers experienced problems with this company tracked ok but then went to zero so I submitted a claim and hey presto finally have the cashback paid into my bank today this was for a policy that I took out in June.I did think the problem was because it was a pay monthly policy.Thanks TCB one happy customer.

If you can i would go somewhere else for car insurance, 2 times they tried to cancel my insurance saying that i kept declining their direct debit. which i hadnt done. Then they traceked the cashback as "0" and had to wait 4 months to eventually get TCB to get in touch with them to ask why? eventually got it through, but i wouldnt go back with them

I'm disgusted with this retailer, i have logged a complaint and to see where my TCB is!! Pended for ages at £80.80 and just this morning it came through as confirmed but at £0.00 - disgusting!! It better get sorted soon, certainly will NOT be renuing my insurance with these guys!

Transaction tracked quickly at £75 but changed to zero when it became payable!! There must be something done about this, they shouldn't be able to reject their cashback offer AFTER you've purchased their insurance!!! It's not fair to tempt you with large cashback amounts and then refuse to pay up!! :-(

Here we go again! For the second time in a month I have used TCB and my transaction has not tracked. First with Aviva (who were also offering £70) and now with RAC (£70). I am still waiting to hear the result of my query four weeks later for Aviva. I can see RAC going the same way. I like many others based my purchase on the price after cash back. If merchants aren't going to play ball they shouldn't be allowed to falsely advertise and be forced off TCB. I always used to find the cash back experience pleasant and hassle free. Lately it is completely the opposite and frankly if this is what is going to happen then why should I ever use the site again?

I have had nothing but problems with this merchant . problems with the insurance to start with and also this is the first cashback offer to not track . I made the mistake of factoring in the cashback when looking for the insurance so have been disappointed when it failed track and left me without the discount . I know now that the cashback offer isn't worth the gamble of it tracking and will stick to smaller purchases through this site that don't count as much , less to lose if it goes wrong. I might just stick to the other cahback site as i've not had any failed trackings there.
