Not impressed with Scottish Power. The last time I accessed your site it stated I would be paid on 31st August. When payment did not appear in my account I queried it with yourselves and you said that the delay was with Scottish Power not paying you. I contacted them and they were to phone me back . It is over a week and I have heard nothing. Now it is showing that they still have not approved my change over which took place on 12th August so over a month ago. They are obviously getting people to change over and deliberately taking their time to hold onto their cash.

Changed to Scottish Power and dual fuel 13th June and there has been no sign of the £130 cash back since. Would certainly not use again.

Ordered dual fuel online tariff at the end of Jun. End of Aug it is now showing as confirmed. No hassle switching. Payout due soon I hope

DiggyDown i think Monkey Money is winding people up. They cannot switch in 13 days, as there is a 14 day cooling off period. Topcashback is showing that payments for April transactions were made in August, so clearly those waiting since May, like me, should be in the next payment run. Patience is key - people switching and taking the money then cancelling is the main reason many companies now take longer to pay out.

Very disappointing - order placed in May - still waiting in September for cashback to appear. Not good enough Scottish Power......

ANOTHER message I sent to Top Cashback today: "Still no cashback from Scottish Power! I was looking at all the feedback from people last night and it's not good is it? Even more disgraceful is the fact that everyone is getting the same standard feedback from your 'customer service' team. (Basically, wait 5 months and you might receive your cash.) I really think that if your merchants take this long to pay then you should advise people (quite clearly and not hidden away in the 'small print') that this could be the case. A clear and transparent payment policy enables your customers to make more of an informed choice when switching suppliers. Can you please contact Scottish Power and try to get them to pay a bit sooner, rather than just absolving yourselves from blame by saying that some merchants are slow to pay? I would also like to know if I will see my cash at some point in October or whether your company and Scottish Power are acting fraudulently? Unfortunately, I suspect the latter."

Tracked within hours, I'll update when it's payable. As for the negative comments, well you have to understand that cashback payments take TIME! 6 months is not uncommon.

I signed up to the Scottish Power cashback deal on 17 May and I'm still awaiting payment. Like most other people, Top Cashback have told me to 'wait'. It seems the average waiting period to be paid is at least 4 months. Absolutely awful service - I wouldn't recommend switching unless you want to wait for months on end ...

Switched to Scottish Power in June, cashback has not yet tracked, submitted a claim after 1 week and still showing waiting for retailer...I'll be switching again if cashback doesn't come through soon

As previous comments - cashback took an incredibly long time (no fault of TopCashBack), but since the money came through in the end "all's well that ends well"!

Took ages for the cashback, 5 months or so, but it was the best deal and the best cashback so can't complain

I switched to Scottish Power and went onto dual fuel to save money - or so I thought. They took unrealistic amounts of money via direct debit, resulting in my having to send numerous emails and I spent months sorting out their mistakes. I was clearly just a 'number' to them. In desperation I transferred my electricity account to EDF Energy and almost a year later I am still waiting for my £32 from Topcashback - all I get from them is excuses for the delay.

'Signed up' 3/7/10, 'pending' since but no electricity change, Scottish Power deny all but it's still 'pending' ??

well my cashback is finally payable after 4 months. the original payable date was 31st may and it has just become payable on 16th august, i think i joined scottish power in april. So this merchant is very slow at paying but you do get it in the end.

I don't think "Tracking" is the problem with this cashback offer. That seems to happen without a problem in most cases, judging by the comments. It is payment that we all seem to be waiting for, how in the hell you got payment in 14 DAYS is anyone guess! Want to give us all a hint how you did it? I've been waiting since April!
