Filled in form, confirmed within days, payable within 14 days! The gas and electric was all switched within 13 days! Plus I got an extra £12 with topups!

Voted cold. Been months and still no sign of cashback or a payment date. Consider others before consdering scottish power. TCB jusrt advised me to wait another 6 weeks. The payment time is totally misleading.
The following is a direct quote from TCB admin / support.
"It is not unusual for policy/contract/banking based transaction to take longer to progress to payable status.
This is usually because the merchant tends to allow the policy to be running for several months before awarding the cashback. "
SEVERAL MONTHS!
That's so decietful. TCB entices people in to this deal and says it's an average of 10 weeks but when it comes to payment... SEVERAL MONTHS!

I have had cashback with Dell, Virgin Media, Npower and Compare the Market. All have tracked in a few days. I placed my order with Scottish Power on 30.06.10 and it still hasn't tracked. I have contacted topcashback and await the outcome. It seems a few members have has issues with this merchant, maybe try elsewhere first as many energy suppliers are offering cashback at the moment.

Thanks to everyone for reporting the problems with this supplier. Having read the comments from the forum, I contacted my exisiting supplier to reverse the changeover. I then called Scottish Power who will charge £50 in cancellation fees. I spoke to their complaints department who have accepted my complaint based on misleading information and stated that the cancellation fees will be refunded once I move to a different supplier (I am now tied to Scottish Power for 28 days).
I find it odd that very few details were asked about TopCashBack, I get the feeling that they know all about this and will refund the cancellation fees without question. I suspect that too many people went for this deal and they have not got the cash to pay out.

My cashback tracked ok, I didnt see it go to confirmed, it just moved over to payable and went from £130 (+ top up) to £0.00. Now have a claim in but not holding my breath on this one at all, real shame as I like many could do with the money.

Supposed be payable 31/5 not happened They had more off me in direct debit payments.
TCB says keep waiting practically word for word email to the other member. The cashback on here and other sites takes so long i have stopped bothering.
TCB even said my bank details were wrong and they could not pay me other cashback that I had accumulated.
Hopefully be ok now. Will let you know if this ever pays out.

Very good cashback rate, and the purchase experience was a lot better than the last time I used them. Long may it continue. Tracked fast, but I am a bit apprehensive they have passed promised payment date of 31/7.
I'm relying on TCB to stay on top of this.

Agree with last person completely! They've done the switch and started supplying my energy....and taken the direct debits of course....but the cashback hasn't even tracked! Submitted missing commission claim and about 400 nudges to no avail. Topcashback have been completely useless: I have also just been told to wait. Nobody chases anything up. Nudges are a complete waste of time. Steer clear. I'm gonna try another cashback site next time.

Rubbish. They're happy to switch you over in the blibk of an eye, but not so easy to get the promised cashback. This was supposed to be PAYABLE about six weeks ago but still hasn't moved out of the confirmed box. TCB not much use either; "we just have to wait". If you want to switch, then switch, but don't expect any cashback.

Mine is still validated for 130 from April - seems strange that TCB are not posting any comment on why no payments were received in either June or July considering there must be lots of people waiting for these fairly large sums.

Well it was tracking fine and the right amount of £130. Was to be payable 31st July 2010, checked TCB everyday to see if it had moved over to confirmed let alone payable. Then it moved straight over to payable but changed to £0.00. Claim now in, very disappointed as I really could of done with what they promised. Be aware of this and be prepared to chase them if the payment confirmation fails as I'm now having to do.

03/08/10 I appreciate you ask for a little extra time to be left on this, but my estimated payment date was 31/05 and we are now in August.
From your site it appears you haven''t received payments from Scottish Power since May, so perhaps there is a problem somewhere ?
Anyway, i see from the review thread that people are getting twitchy regarding SP, so perhaps some communication / reassurance or re-estimate of date for payment would help.

Scottish Power not reached payable status
It is not unusual for a contract based transaction to take longer to reach payable status. This is often because the merchant may allow the policy to be running for a short time before approving and paying for this.
We are not experiencing any long delays with this merchant's transactions but appreciate that some members may find that their transaction has passed the estimated date and we would kindly request that you allow a little extra time for these to progress.

Basically, I moved bother my properties to this supplier. If I am honest I was blinded by the level of cashback, deliciously tempting and meant I made the money the cretins calling me continuously and sometimes even knocking on my door would otherwise have received.
HOWEVER!!! I haven't received the cashback. It is at least confirmed, at the correct amount, it should've been payable months ago, but nothing has happened. Any kind of update would be appreciated

Cashback initially expected 31st May, now the 30th July and still not received. Having played this "game" for a while I am accustomed to waiting for delayed cashbacks and not only through TopCashback.
However, being seen to be proactive and communicating payment delays would be a good idea as it keeps the end customers (us) in the loop and helps manage expectations, rather than pile up complaints masked as comments on the reviews.
