They are far from being alone in singing the retailer’s praises as you will find plenty of other positive remarks in the Sky Broadband reviews below.

Most of the praise is reserved for how quickly members received their cashback, with some of the feedback including “tracked fine and paid out earlier than expected”, “fast tracking and, unbelievably, paid within weeks of service going live”, “tracked quickly and was also paid much faster than suggested” and “I have never had a problem receiving any cashback from Sky — very prompt”. While there is some negative feedback regarding cashback, you will also find comments praising Sky for their products and customer service. Cashback did not track. After submitting a missing transaction claim, 8 months later I have been told that I will not be receiving the £80 promised as a new customer because "Another marketing channel was credited with the sale". That, quite frankly, is a load of rubbish. I followed all instructions to aid tracking (clearing cookies, completing the sale in one transaction etc.) but this didn't work. Feel conned

Expecting £40 cashback for upgrading to HD. The cashback did not track. I have logged a missing cashback claim but still have not received any cb. It has now been 4 months since I took out the HD contract.

Very disapointed in Sky for some unknown reason they promised £100 cash back as a new customer but are only paying out £50 and closed the claim for the original advertised amount.

I was an existing Customer of sky so when they offered £90 cashback for broadband and phone line for existing customers I was overjoyed. I took up this offer back in August last year and have just been told I'm not eligible and can't do a thing about it. I'm furious as the broadband service I'm getting from them is terrible. Needless to say I will be cancelling my contract in August.

Like so many, cashback did not track then after placing a manual claim Sky say they can't find any referance to my order, this is odd as they paid me £100 M&S vouchers!. Sky are clearly conning people into taking out a contract based on getting this cashback. You are likely not to receive any cashback so do not factor this in when deciding to go with SKY.

I fail to understand how they say you are eligible for cashback if you haven't been a Sky customer in the last 12 months (I left Sky 13 months ago), but then go on to say ex Sky customers can not sign up to Sky online?! This means the cashback is NOT available to anyone that has previously been a Sky customer, however long in the past it may be! Misleading.

Ordered service online in November, was told they could not process the order as we were moving to a new property and the current owners had a sky subscription, said they would leave the order open and process after we moved in in December. Had an e-mail a few days later saying the customer service has been trying to get hold of me and i would need to contact them urgently. When i did, i was told that there is nothing to worry about, they have a note on file to say what will happen and it is just their system sending out an automated e-mail. On the night before moving i got another e-mail to say my order was cancelled!!! So i tried to put an order through in the morning at my friends to make sure i could place an order online to qualify for the cashback! You know what it said!!?? That i am AN EXISTING CUSTOMER AND THAT I CAN NOT PLACE AN ORDER!!! What a SCAM! So i opted for ringing them up after we moved in - the order went through with the innitial order number - obviously not cancelled at all! A month later cashback that should have been over £100 torned it to a big fat 0... Have submitted a claim (over a month ago now), nudged them a few times - DEAD SILENCE! Very disapointed...

overall a really bad experience, one problem after another, eventually recieved £50 M&S vouchers yet still waiting for cashback to clear which should have been 31st April. Beware all is not as it seams, don't be fooled by the allure as Sky seems to do anything not to have to pay....
