BEFORE BUYING !!!!
goto money supermarket and do a price search for insurance, for me its over £300 cheaper, thats actual savings not wishy washy disappearing cashback, for some reason moneysupermaret have swiftcover really cheap, girlfriends insurance was over £200 cheaper via money supermarket than swift direct

Have now received my £28 cashback even though my purchase didn't track. Thank you TCB for following it up.
Swiftcover were my best quote even without the cashback. I have bought their car insurance in the past and found them OK when dealing with a claim.

Hi, i haven't yet bought from swiftcover, i'm trying to decide if the low price is worth it, currently they are some £400 cheaper than alternate companies for me, one thing worth noticing if i do a quote via top cash back or via swiftcover.com it comes out for me at just under £800 however if i do a moneysupermaret comparison quote it comes up at around £560, if you want to save money with swift cover i'd do it thru money supermarket, much better to shave of a lump sum than risk the £28 cashback that probably won't happen.
other comparison sites still bring in a swiftcover quote out cheaper, however still a £100 more than moneysupermarket offers
hope this info helps someone save on insurance :)

Absolute rubbish. Bought through TCB but Swift declined to pay! They shouldn't be offering cashback if they are not prepared to pay out when purchased!! You have been warned!

Swift cover offered best car insurance deal. Cashback of £28 was seen as a bonus. Ins taken out on 1 May and tracked instantly. Became payable on date stated (30 June) and cashed accordingly. Excellent experience.

Submitted a missing commission claim and have been "waiting for retailer" for months now!

At last my transaction has been confirmed. I bought the car insurance at the end of March and it says should be payable on the 30/6.
I look forward to receiving it.

Complete waste of time. Like I believe everyone else, my initial amount appeared but then was reset to zero.
Insurance was similarly priced elsewhere so cashback was the only motivation for me trying. The additional work involved submitting evidence of NCD electronically quickly made this policy a nuisance. Will DEFINITELY shop somewhere else next time.

Beware of this cashback offer!!
After waiting 6 months for my cashback I contacted Swift directly only to be told that the cashback is only available to new customers which I was not aware of. When I read it back it does say not for people who are renewing their insurance like me, but I don't think its made clear enough. I won't use them again.
