Tracked but did not payout
Deeply disappointed that AA tracked my purchase immediately but after 1 month negated it to zero. I have tried with the help of Topcashback to get this back but after another month it so they have refused. I could have gotten a better deal elsewhere but chose AA because of the cashback offer. Huge lesson learned.

More than four months and still waiting. Didn't track, was put "on ice" by TopCashback for 3 months, so I guess this happens regularly with the AA - which they don't mention before you buy - then another month of nudges and waiting for the AA to respond, and still nothing. I won't bother with AA cashback again.

I Purchased AA Breakdown cover back in April. Promised 60% cashback. Pigs might fly. I have not heard from the AA re my cashback and Topcashback do not seem to be too bothered. I don't think anything will come back. This seems like a right royal scam to make money from advertising and selling on peoples details, with the only winners being Topcashback who sell the data, and the AA who renege on their promises. Both win and the only loser is the customer, US.
Have you had the same experience??

Should have taken the advice of most of the poeple about the AA it is such a shame as they are bring down the good name of the AA
I have had the same experience as many other reviews in regards to cash back going to £0.00 this has happened twice now with the AA (will not be going with the AA again)
After buying the policy Cashback logged at correct amount after 2 months it went to zero I have submitted a cashback claim, re instated and the went to zero
Excactly the same happen when I took out a AA creditcard logged cashback the went to zero with no re-dress from TCB I will not be tempted by The AA's cash back offers again.

Purchased home insurance and though the cashback tracked quickly it wasn't paid out, despite raising an appeal twice. No issues with topcash back site though everything was investigated quickly. Just didn't receive the cash from the AA despite ordering the produced offered.

Ever heard of the phrase - "Once bitten, twice shy"? Well, I have but I really should listen to my own advice as this is now the third time in a row that cashback for home and car insurance has been tracked, remained at pending for 5 months and then declined for no reason whatsoever. The cashback is generous were it to materialise and as far as I'm concerned, has been the deciding factor in taking out an AA policy. As far as I can see, with hindsight, this is a cynical ploy to entice people to buy a policy knowing that the promise of cashback is a fantasy. I reckon the flash salesmen on massive commissions for selling policies and maximising returns are laughing their heads off at us.
You have been warned. Use the AA if you want but DO NOT expect any cashback.

Did everything by the book yet my cashback has been reduced to £20 when it should have been £60.
Wont go for this again and as others have said dont be fooled by the cashback as they dont pay

Purchased a years home and buildings contents insurance, it advertised £40 cashback, after a month it was taken off the account and it just says £0 and sorry I cant claim it..not genuine, so wouldnt bother if you are after cashback

Tracked straight away then went to zero. Sent nudge and tracked again at correct amount then went to zero again. Do not recommend and will not use again.

After taking out combined contents and buildings insurance this initially tracked then went back to zero. Made a claim and it was reinstated only to be put back to zero again for NO reason. Needless to say I shall not be a customer of the AA ever again and they should be removed from TCB

the cashback has been confirmed but not paid yet, so I'm not commenting on cashback.
However, the customer service I received has been excellent. My bike was stolen and luckily was covered. Exactly one week from the theft, I was provided with a new bike. No quibbles, just helpful and very prompt service.

Didn't track, put in claim and cashback appeared as pending...ooh, for at least a day. It then went to £0.00 payable. TCB support unable to argue the case so no payment.
First time I've had a transaction declined and it's the last time The AA will do it to me.

I ordered European breakdown cover from AA only because with the cashback it brought the price down lower than the RAC where I normally purchase from. The cashback figure showed in the first 2 columns for a long time then one day I saw it had moved to the payable column but the amount had changed to zero.
The European cover was clearly shown on the list with a % cashback. I think this is very bad behaviour on the part of the AA and I will not be using them again for anything when this cover has expired. Can they do this when someone has purchased in good faith? I could have got my cover cheaper from a few places if cashback was not in consideration.

No choice but we all have to have car insurance so cash back is welcome. Didn't see that they would charge to use credit card until too late. Also why do I need to pay to have relevant paperwork posted when you send out masses of other paperwork? Insurance I got for my husband sent the cover note & details speedily without extra cost.

I have had problems with the AA paying the cash back. I purchased home & building insurance. But still know cash back. They keep declining the payment request. Will not use them again.

Just got paid from end of November. Had to get Topcashback to get involved. The A.A should take note of these negative comments. It's ridiculous waiting 4 months for payment. I phoned them as well and nobody on the phone had heard of this cashback scheme.

Cashback tracked but eventually got rejected by AA, but none of the possible reasons stated apply. After 4 months topcashback have still been unable to resolve the claim although to their credit they do answer emails and acknowledge a problem with AA transactions. I recommend RAC instead!
