Purchase made June 2010, didn't track so submitted manual claim, has been pending ever since, not been tracked so unless this happens unlikely to get paid. This means that it would have been better to purchase else where or with another provider. Have queried why it has not been been tracked a number of times but not had any feedback yet, so not sure what is happening. If it works it is worth doing. Other purchases have been made through site and never really had any problems :-(

What initially seems like a bargain at £7 for 12 months roadside assistance, people should be aware that the the length of time for The AA to agree to pay the cashback was excessive to that advertised.
Purchase was made on 1.9.10 and cashback given on 21.1.11 (nearly 5 months later!) Top Cashback had to resubmit the claim as The AA refused to pay out the first time. I am really glad I didnt purchase a more expensive roadside policy, but commend Top Cashback on their tenacity with pursuing TheAA.

On the third attempt and with some appreciated assistance from Top Cashback I eventually got my Cashback from the AA. In my experience there are too many merchants willing to try to get out of paying the Cashback offered and this is a false economy. Don't offer the deal if you would rather not pay up as you are going to lose more customers than you will gain. On the plus side I got a really good deal for this years car insurance from the AA and will consider staying with them if they remain competitive next year .

Although fast to track these are the slowest to pay out, they do pay out but it just takes months. But excellent deal on road side recovery.

It seems that THE AA is using Topcash back for free advertising. They dont pay cash back. I had £25.00 pending then it was wiped off after I had purchased the insurance.

The latest offer 12/01/01. Initial attempt done during the day- timed out during payment . A second attempt next day in the middle of the night - failed to track. Had cleared cookies, adobe flash settings/cookies, reset browser. Might be better trying to get a discount direct, I rang RAC who I'm with - mentioned the price - and they immediately dropped roadside+recovery to £52.50, not as cheap but a lot less hassle. Will now have to cancel the AA within the 14 days. Only worth taking if you get the cashback, otherwise better to phone for a better price.

This claim has taken far longer than the average time advertised for this retailer. Whilst I know it is the AA and not top cashabck who are responsible for confirming the purchase the feedback from other people does give confidence that it will be anytime soon. As I have commented before I only used AA because of the cashback, they certainly were not the cheapest and I would be reluctant to use them again. I puchased on the 18/8/10 and whislt £42 showed initially it was very quickly removed! I've been chasing ever since which is not good.

This has been my first purchase on top cashback and it took 3 months of chasing to even get the merchant to acknowledge my purchase and get the amount pending payment. It has now been another month and still no payment has been made. Of course I am hopeful it will be made eventually but not a great first experience.....maybe RAC next year!!?

Common theme here. Purchased cover at a cost of £120 expecting cashback of £50. It was very quick to track then suddenly became payable at £0.00. Whats that about? What a group of con artistes. I have submitted a claim. Also rubbish service with cards not arriving and having to chase them up by phone. they kept trying to sell me home emergency and not dealing wih my request. Hope the service is better if i need them. Very disappointing. Think topcashback need to stop using them if the continue not to pay!
