Purchased breakdown cover Dec 2009, when the AA were offering £21 cashback. Tracked quickly at £21, but changed to £0.00 in Jan 2010. Claimed in March and awarded £19 a week later. Notified TCB of missing £2 next day; nothing since, despite 3 nudges over the past year. At least I got something, unlike some poor folk who put their trust in the AA to honour their part of the bargain. Yet another victim of the AA's dishonest sales tactics.

I wish i had read the reviews before i purchased my breakdown cover . The reviews haev a coomon theme that the AA offer a good cashback offerr and then they dont actually pay anything. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS THEY ARE CHEATS AND LIARS

Tracked quickly but at the wrong amount, should have tracked at £42.00 for the amount of cover purchased but only tracked at the minimum amount of £21.00, some three months later I am still waiting for this to be rectified. However it goes without saying that AA is a top product, so come on AA - sort yourselves out and pay the cashback you promised. This is letting your service down

No vote for product quality as I haven't had to call on their breakdown service yet; hopefully I'll never have to find out the hard way! No delay in recording the transaction so hopefully the cashback will go through without probs.

Completely unhappy with the cashback experience. Firstly tracked at £42 in August which changed to £0. Opened up an enquiry and am STILL waiting. Not impressed and would not recommend the AA. Without the cashback you will get cheaper elsewhere. feels like a con!

AA cashback is generous. Used them for breakdown and home insurance. Tracked OK. Payment is slow but gets there in the end.

Did track and get paid reasonably quickly - but everything else has been bad. Website is very confusing with regard to payment options. Membership cards took months to arrive. Had to repeatedly call customer services - awful experience with long waits on-hold and persistent attempts to sell extra insurance rather than address the problem. Haven't (yet) had breakdown so can't rate actual response in emergency. Will definitely not use again - very cheap with cashback but not worth the hassle.

Amazing offer making my cover only £57 once cashback is recieved:D Tracked quickly and got instant cover to replace my expired Tesco cover which would have cost £79 to renew. Only shame is that you have to shop around with other companies once your year is up to get a good deal. Not a fan of all of these "new customer only" deals but if thats the way they want to play it then I'm sure I'll be able to get a good deal with the RAC or Green Flag next year :
