Absolute rubbish! For such a large company you would expect them to be more on the ball. I've waited 5 months for a small payout and I'm still waiting. I wont hold my breath!!!

Having an item delivered to the store for me to collect caused cashback to fail to track. The cashback did eventually track, after I put a claim in. Having it delivered to my home address caused it to track reasonably quickly. This has happened several times.

Did not track for absolutely ages and I submitted a claim, then all of a sudden a couple of months later the cashback just appeared in my account, after that it paid out no problem. Good service from the merchant.

I ordered 3 books at the beginning of December. One arrived just in time for Christmas, second in middle of January, still waiting for the third! CS say they don't know when it will be delivered but it is still showing to order on their website as 'available in 4-5 days'. Just checked my WHS account and find they have now cancelled the book but have not contacted me to let me know. Very disappointed with their customer service. Quick to track but no cashback to date.

Ordered an item in December which I received 8 weeks later via delivery to my local store. I had to chase order up several times and did not receive a phone call to let me know item was ready for collection.

Cashback tracked correctly, was supposed to pay out in November, but then suddenly showed payable in late January as £0.00. Can't say I've been very impressed, and seems like the cashback changedto zero just after 100 days so I couldn't claim. Won't order with WH Smiths again.

Experience okay, had faulty goods which were returned and dealt with by customer services by email, bit of misunderstanding but got replacement goods.

Unusually, cashback has not tracked. I am hoping that this was because the books were initially out of stock. Communication from W H Smith's customer services was good and they arrived 18 days after ordering. I have submitted claim but topcashback says this will be put on ice for 4 months, whilst below that it says a 30 day validation period is required. I'm presuming it's 30 days before they chase up the tracking issue and 4 months before they chase up payment. I will wait and see and post with the results later.

Ordered 19/11/10, carrier [Hermes] literally chucked it in bottom of wheelie bin, WHS just sent auto reply to email promising inquiry but nothing since. Order did not track so put a claim in, TCB has it 'On Ice' to be submitted 17/02/11! Definately one to avoid, I will never shop here again afterall there are plenty of alternatives such as Waterstones, etc. ;-p
