Offered a good cashback rate of 20% plus item was in the sale (a scanner)but they subsequently cancelled my order because they said it wasn't in stock (even though their website said it was when I placed the order) - think they got cold feet because they were going to lose money on the deal - poor customer service too when I called them

Site still won't let me place an order with any of my credit/debit cards which work fine elsewhere. Since I last tried to order from them in January, I've ordered laptops and TVs from Dixons, Amazon and Tesco with no problems. Each time I speak to Best Buy they come up with a different excuse - Best Buy really are crap!

Nightmare ---- Bought cooker - three, yes three missed delivery dates all requiring me to take time off work. Accepted payment when item out of stock. Spent ages on phone chasing up. Promised calls not returned. Actual cashback now paid but took ages.

This was the first time I'd used the cashback website so a bit sceptical about the whole thing. How wrong could I have been, my payment is winging its way to me as we speak and topcashback have been great at chasing it through and responding to my emails. I'll be recommending it to everyone and using it for everything moving forward. My transaction was with Bestbuy and they gave a great rate against a new TV its definately been worth the wait which was about 2 months in total, but when you think its money for nothing as I would have bought the TV anyway its definately worth it, highly recommend it.

Cashback tracked rapidly but I do get it to jump straight into payable after 2 months. Its more than 70 quid cashback...no fraud with this company. Highly recommended.

Great, confirmed today £81.00 cashback for the iPad I bought my other half for Christmas, it took 60 days to confirm but definitley worth the wait. Thanks TCB & BestBuy - FANTASTIC!

Purchased a Tv at beginning of Dec (£600+), tracked straightaway,, was slighty concerned as to whether I see the large cashback due as a number of other peps gave negative reviews & nothing happened,,,,, however today, I can confirm that the status has now changed to 'confirmed' so hopefully I'll see the cashback at end of this month or next. Took a bit of time but no doubt it was due to xmas period,, Thx.

Tried repeatably to buy a tv and blue ray player but the transaction would not complete. Advised their customer service dept who say they have never received any complaints re their site before. I can not beleive this especially after reading all the negative comments re this site. Never had problems like this before. I regulary buy high cost items off Comet Currys etc with no problems,but was attracted by the 10% cash back offer, but what is the point advertising this if they do not honour their cashback. They seem to be deliberately ignoring the problem. Top cash back should remove them from their site as they are falsely advertising a cash back offer that simply does not exsist.

Bestbuy offers great rates to tempt you but then fails to pay the cashback!! The only reason I used Bestbuy was to get the cashback which made the products cheaper. Will not shop at Bestbuy again and if you want cashback and a cheaper product I would advise to shop elsewhere.

Actually bought two items in two different clicks but only tracked for one,lodge a complaint about it but still waiting,plus the one which tracked hvnt been confirmed yet after more than 2 months. lets see when they will release the money,and sort out the outstanding transaction.

You try to order via topcashback, you get to the end of your transaction and your credit/debit card fails. So you cant purchase afterall. I complained to their customer service people and they said it was my card issuer etc. Which is just a way of saying, we'll process your order, as long as we dont have to pay you cashback on top. If the cashback is influential in ordering from Best Buy, I would look elsewhere as there is NO guarantee you will get it.

Comment dated 8th Feb 2011: I purchased a microwave combi oven from this merchant on 6th Dec 2010. Delivery was within specified time and the product is good. Cashback of £48.21 tracked quickly but not yet showing as confirmed and therefore not paid. I note from other customers comments that the cashback payments are unreliable and my experience to date confirms this. Very disappointing unless the amount is recovered soon.

Well it's been 2 months since making this purchase and they've not so much as confirmed it. It was all supposed to be done and dusted by a week ago. They pull you in with their attractive rates, but what good are they if they don't pay out! Go and shop elsewhere - even if it's a couple of quid more expensive at least you'll make up for it by actually being paid your cashback.

Tried to order and it failed with three differnet cards even tried a neww card with a new account no luck, always fails after passing visa or mastercard verification. Did ask them why and they claimed I had failed security, checked with card issuers and there was no problem verification worked. They did suggest ringing to place order umm!??! In the end bought from boots not such good cashback but worked and got a better machine for almost sme price.
