I upgraded to an iPhone5 last May - was promised £50 cashback which still isn't with me yet. Topcashback have been great in trying to get it so it's not their fault. Next time I upgrade I'll use another merchant - don't think CPW should be allowed on this site if they aren't going to give the money they promise to everyone.

I bought a new phone through carphone warehouse on an upgrade. I entered all the details they asked and waited the next day for the phone. Instead I got an annoying man telling me that my order wasn't processed because I entered the wrong details. I had not. They asked for my address for the past three years so I entered those. He said I needed to enter the registered address O2 had for my phone. Anyway because of them not asking me for the correct details on the website, I now lose my cashback. I find this incredibly unfair. Oh and that annoying guy on the phone made me change my delivery address to my home because he said I would get a Saturday delivery and instead got a text saying it was going to be delivered to my home on the Monday instead. Rang up again to complain and change delivery details. Good contract price, but a lot of hassle otherwise.

Had to order 4 times (each time through TCB) before finally placing order! It tracked first order but then declined it and has not tracked final order which went through. Ticket raise but hold no hopes! Avoid if you can as CPW sales dept tried to badger sale over phone so that they won't have to pay out cashback!!!

Absolute waste of time- not impressed with Carphone Warehouse or their after service when I made a follow up complaint. I ordered an iPhone 5C to be delivered to store in Carlisle- had to wait 2 days for it to be delivered without a working phone then went to pick it up- waited ages in the store while they tried to set it up, they couldn't and claimed that the upgrade wouldn't work from Orange to EE- however they could re-sell me the phone and in the process lose the cashback (which is why I went to them in the first place) If the upgrade doesn't work then I don't see how re-selling me the phone will solve the problem? To me it seemed they only wanted to resell the phone so I would lose the cashback. I left the store without a phone and went to the EE shop and purchased one the following morning which upgraded and was working within half an hour no problem at all - and actually I got a better deal despite not getting cashback. My first very disappointing experience of Carphone Warehouse, the assistant in the shop did try very hard to sort it out but could not get any good advice from the technical support team when she rang and their after sales complaints team told me they couldn't sort out the problem on my transaction and to be able to upgrade I would have to get a pac code and reorder and go through another probable 5 days of waiting as this transaction failed on a Friday. Complete and utter waste of my time- I wouldn't ever trust Carphone Warehouse again. The branch I used was Kingstown in Carlisle.

Another cashback claim declined. This merchant has 99.6% satisfaction why? as reading the feedback a lot of cashback have been declined. A good idea would be to put how many claims against each merchant and how many are rejected.

Never received cashback of £30. Usual cop out of not using the correct click thru merchant. Scandalous. Phone broke after 6 months and CPW refused to accept liabilty Will never use CPW again. Too many other better providers.

Bought a new contract around 5 months ago, cashback of £100 didn't track initially so I filed a claim with TCB, sent a few nudges and have finally RECEIVED CASHBACK. My advice would be don't choose a contract with CW based on their offered cashback, only choose if it is the best overall deal around. Consider the cashback as a bonus.

Purchased an I-phone 5S on an upgrade deal in November 2013, it tracked at 52.50 (wasn't worried as the details stated with may happen), however on the day I collected the phone it changed to declined. Still awaiting a response re: my claim. Will be very annoyed if they try to state that opting to collect the phone from the store as opposed to home delivery voids the cashback as the transaction is clearly still done online, it's just choosing to collect from a shop instead of waiting for a courier is much easier.

I bought my new phone through Carphone Warehouse 12-months ago specifically because of the cashback on offer. They declined the cashback and refused to acknowledge my order even though I have proof of the new phone contract I had purchased with them. Took 12-months to dispute with them between myself and Top Cashback but still refused the cashback. Bad cashback merchant.

Had two cash back claims - both have been declined for (I think) spurious reasons! Just waiting to see if my appeal will get anywhere. Doubt if I will go to them again.

Order went through and cashback traced without a problem - item was a preorder so sat back and waited for it to be delivered. Shortly before the expected release date I rang up to check why payment hadn't been taken. I was then told at this point that the order had been parked (without any explanation offered to why) - and if I wanted to receive my items I should complete the order over the phone. I did this there and then. However, Carphone Warehouse have now declined my cashback as the "order cannot be found". The cynic in me feels that they may be abusing the cashback system by forcing some people to complete there orders (unnecessarily) over the phone. While avoid from now on.

The click through for the purchase was fine. However, after a few days the purchase price went from £49.99 to £1. After 3 months waiting to hear back from merchant they have declined the claim for cashback as 'order cannot be found', despite being given the order number from my email confirmation. Avoid disappointment and go elsewhere.

I was meant to her £101 cash back for the purchase of an iPhone 5S. Only £50 was tracked and when I submitted a claim, a few months later I had a response from Carphone Warehouse stating that they have rejected my claim based on them saying they have paid me the correct amount of cashback! Im furious with this to be honest hence the negative feedback above, you may have saved yourself £50 short term, but you have lost a loyal gadget loving customer who would no doubt be spending hundreds/thousands in your store over the next decade or so! Im sure Phones4U, O2, Vodafone etc will really appreciate my business and would treat me much better than Carphone Warehouse.

Very disappointed. Went online to get cashback, but took over a week and still failed to deliver to their own store. Having traveled to collect, gave up on cashback and processed as new sale in store.

I ordered o2 pay monthly upgrade through topcashback/carphonewarehouse on november 20th. The cashback was tracked immediately and confirmed after 3 weeks and payable exactly after 4 weeks. Great service. I've read various comments about declined cash backs. All i would recommend is clear the cookies/internet history (everything) before you place on order through any cash back websites. Even a single trace of previous visit which was not through the cash back websites may results in declined cash back. Also try to avoid any direct contacts if the order should be made fully online including delivery(don't collect from store). All the best
