Order went through and cashback traced without a problem - item was a preorder so sat back and waited for it to be delivered. Shortly before the expected release date I rang up to check why payment hadn't been taken. I was then told at this point that the order had been parked (without any explanation offered to why) - and if I wanted to receive my items I should complete the order over the phone. I did this there and then. However, Carphone Warehouse have now declined my cashback as the "order cannot be found". The cynic in me feels that they may be abusing the cashback system by forcing some people to complete there orders (unnecessarily) over the phone. While avoid from now on.

2 transactions. Both tracked within 24 hrs and both become payable within 2 weeks (correct amounts as well)!! Hope everyone else is as lucky.

The click through for the purchase was fine. However, after a few days the purchase price went from £49.99 to £1. After 3 months waiting to hear back from merchant they have declined the claim for cashback as 'order cannot be found', despite being given the order number from my email confirmation. Avoid disappointment and go elsewhere.

I was meant to her £101 cash back for the purchase of an iPhone 5S. Only £50 was tracked and when I submitted a claim, a few months later I had a response from Carphone Warehouse stating that they have rejected my claim based on them saying they have paid me the correct amount of cashback! Im furious with this to be honest hence the negative feedback above, you may have saved yourself £50 short term, but you have lost a loyal gadget loving customer who would no doubt be spending hundreds/thousands in your store over the next decade or so! Im sure Phones4U, O2, Vodafone etc will really appreciate my business and would treat me much better than Carphone Warehouse.

Very disappointed. Went online to get cashback, but took over a week and still failed to deliver to their own store. Having traveled to collect, gave up on cashback and processed as new sale in store.

I ordered o2 pay monthly upgrade through topcashback/carphonewarehouse on november 20th. The cashback was tracked immediately and confirmed after 3 weeks and payable exactly after 4 weeks. Great service. I've read various comments about declined cash backs. All i would recommend is clear the cookies/internet history (everything) before you place on order through any cash back websites. Even a single trace of previous visit which was not through the cash back websites may results in declined cash back. Also try to avoid any direct contacts if the order should be made fully online including delivery(don't collect from store). All the best

The quickest cashback I have received to date, had been put off, however cpw had a great deal on z10 that nobody could match so went ahead thinking a may not get cash back and got the full amount paid within 3 weeks.

I upgraded to the iphone 5C as it would work out better as long as I got the £101 cashback. It initially tracked at £50.50. I also received an email saying there was an issue and I was to call them. While resolving it I asked if it would effect my cashback and the guy said he would make sure to keep the same order number in order to keep it right. After a few weeks it uplifted to £101 and went to confirmed, I have requested it paid out as soon as it went to payable. I think I was lucky and it could have easily gone wrong. If they have you call them, mention the cashback.

Refused my cashback after waiting four months. I full-filled all of the requirements, and feel I have been royally conned. Do not touch this merchant. Am now going to use another cashback site, as the whole experience has shown me the this site, advertises false cashback. Very, very peeved!!!!!!!!!!!

Long story short. Upgraded. Their website crashed at the end of purchasing. I received order but no cash back. Complained and followed through. Did not expect to ever see my £100 but low and behold got my money payable 2 months later. Very surprised but happy

I purchased a IPhone 5C this was an upgrade & carphone warehouse offered £101 cashback - inially was tracked @ £50.50 then is has been declined & I have received nothing!!! Very disappointed !!!!!

Bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 on O2, 24 month contract for £14/mo. I picked up the phone from CPW shop. The Cashback tracked at half initially (52.50), which worried me, but then after a month or so became the full £105, which I claimed in Amazon vouchers for the extra 5%. Can't fault it really from either CPW or TCB.

YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR CASHBACK! Carphone Warehouse should be THROWN off TOPCASHBACK for FALSE PROMISES... If you don't get a confirmation via email within a few hours They will have CANCELLED your order made through cashback sites & email you asking to "phone" for further details, but this is a PLOY to AVOID paying cashback your owed, as when you do they give you a different order number (made over phone & not online) so it's invalidated...it's VERY SNEAKY! Also DO NOT USE COLLECT FROM STORE, if you want cashback, as last part is completed in-store, which again means NO CASHBACK, I've never used such a underhanded company in my entire life!!!

Carphone Warehouse are sneaky, they cancelled my original order placed online and emailed to say that I needed to phone them to complete the order due to some error at their end. I didn't realise at the time that rather than reinstating my order they gave it a new order number. So although I paid 150.00 upfront and signed up for a 24 month contract the cashback didn't track because they had changed the order number, even after raising a case which took several months to get an answer, they refused to honour the deal. Very poor service from them regarding the order at the time too. I did not realise they'd cancelled the order, only that they emailed to say I had to phone rather than getting a confirmation email. They still kept my 150 quid even though they'd cancelled. Very poor indeed. I won't be using them again.

Cashback advertised as £100, cashback not tracked, filed a missing cashback claim, 2 months later still awaiting response. Poor cashback experience. Wouldn't have bought the phone from COW if cashback offered so this is a misleading cashback offer.

Am a long term user of TCB, so know the drill and never normally have any issues. I purchased a tablet for my mum on aspecial offer and was supposed to get 4.50 back, and instead got 45p. Raised a missing form with TCB and even though I had copies of the order and paper work the network rejected it - stay away from these jokers.

Cashback tracked but got declined then a missing cashback claim also got denied. Only got my 24 month contract from Carphone Warehouse because it worked out cheaper with the cashback. Could have actually got a better deal elsewhere if I knew they wouldn't pay cashback. Last time I shop with Carphone Warehouse.

This company has to be without a shadow of doubt the worst I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.I did an upgrade through Carphone Warehouse to O2.Cashback tracked OK.Original order never turned up at branch so after 3 days another ordered.Extremely poor level of expertise and professionalism of staff in branch.Unable to set new phone up or transfer contacts,etc from old phone.All sorts of excuses made by what I consider to be lazy and ill trained young staff.Numerous calls to call centre to complain and again, all sorts of excuses and contradiction of what other staff have told me.Fail to keep promises and never call you back and seem to give you the general run around.Finally got complaint to CEO team and was offered a miserly £34 compensation for the last three weeks of hell I've suffered from these people.Spoke to Citizens Advice who say Carphone warehouse have a legal obligation under the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 and therefore should adhere to these guidelines.Now reached a deadlock situation and case being referred to Trading Standards.Appalling level of Customer Service with badly trained staff who frequently say there's nothing more I can do to help you.What really surprises me this Company is by Royal Appointment to HM Queen!!Never again will I deal with this unhelpful, inefficient company.

Cashback eventually declined after putting in a claim (now 9 months after purchase). Supposedly product not eligible for cashback - I checked this thoroughly on purchase. The only problem I have ever had with Topcashback!
