It’s fair to say feedback left by TopCashback members who have shopped with O2 through us is mixed. However, having said that, you will be able to read many positive O2 reviews below. There are plenty of people who have clearly been pleased with how quickly they received their cashback, with one saying: “Cashback payable to my account was bang on time — brilliant service.”

Others clearly share those sentiments, with similar comments including “tracked and paid within a month”, “really easy transaction and decent cashback rate” and “tracked quickly and paid out fast”. Our members have also praised O2 for the service they provide, with comments including “super quick and efficient service” and “brilliant — very helpful customer service”. The O2 review feedback on Trustpilot is also mixed, but there are some fantastic reviews.

One stated: “Absolutely brilliant company. The My O2 app is so easy to check your upcoming bill and offers.” Another happy customer said: “I think O2 is brilliant. Do not believe TopCashBack claiming "O2" as fast paying merchant! It's a lie! All my cashback are well past 5 months and still pending and TCB is refusing to give any clear answer. TCB advertising/misleading customer by saying O2 is fast paying and at the same time when you try to open a ticket about delayed payments they give you the run around saying there are currently issue of delays with this merchant payout, so "Don't bother us!" Some service by TopCashBack!

As with a few others, transaction tracked very quickly however it's now been 5 months and it hasn't moved from pending. It's a significant amount in cash back terms and was an incentive for taking out the contract. Very disappointed to still be waiting this long.

Rubbish. Upgraded at end of previous contract in May. Tracked at £31.50, still pending at £31.50 after 6 months and can't raise a claim with TCB as it was over 100 days ago.

I would urge anyone to keep a close track on the amount of weeks shown when their payout would be expected (e.g.13 weeks) I waited patiently and this went beyond that time, causing me problems to recoup it. Luckily Topcashback team worked on my behalf but I have only just received cashback from a transaction five months ago in June. I wanted to update my iPhone and chose O2 for a specific phone and the large amount of cashback(the offer was time sensitive) hoping this would cover cancellation fees on my existing phone contract. It hasn't been a smooth run and I have received some cashback but not all at once and not the full amount. I have found Topcashback to be the best cashback site and their team are efficient but I now diarise all my transactions and moniter them.

Brought Phone back in July as o" had offer on for £94.50 Cashback . Tracked fine at £94.50 within hours. Payout said Around 12 Weeks so sat back and waited. Week 12 came and overnite cashback dropped to £47.50??? As soon I saw it raise ticket with Customer service Doing this the £47.50 became confirmed and wasmade payable. Now waiting to her back but not got much hope last time I will be using O2 for cashback

Don't rely on this merchant to pay out accurately. I was entitled to £141. It tracked at £141 for three months and today has dropped to £30, so angry! Have emailed TCB but do not expect any support from them.

Transaction tracked immediately but seems to be taking ages to confirm. I know in the terms and conditions there's a validation period stipulated, but when I signed up many of reviews referenced how prompt payment was. I've been waiting months. When it does pay it will be a nice bonus.

Last time I took out a contract I had my cashback within 2 weeks, this was in February. I took out a contract for my son in June, I have paid 2 bills and still my cashback hasn't come through. It says up to 13 weeks!! Not as good this time round.

I completely agree with Ashrak, exact same thing has happened to me. Terms and conditions have also been changed to state there's a 6 month validation period, this better not apply to orders placed before this change was implemented. I certainly won't be buying a O2 contract based on my experience this time. Avoid at all costs.

Totally useless!!! Ordered phone, it tracked, then after 2 MONTHS, amount reduced with no explanation, stil pending, more than 2 months later, no feedback from ticket. People, have no illusions, you will NOT receive any cashback from here with O2. This is a scam. Try it if you like, you will see what I meant.

Absolute rip off. Me and my partner both ordered new phones in March 2014. Both should have received £75 cashback each. Both cashback tracked at 0.00. No explanation given.

Like many others, I made a purchase for an O2 Refresh contract in March 2014. It tracked fairly quickly but at 0.00. I raised a support ticket at this point and was told that this would be investigated but that it could take 2-3 months. Like many others, I've disappointed as O2 is supposed to be "Faster Paying". Hopefully this will come good but not the best experience thus far.

Never even tracked for me. Signed up for a monthly tariff at the end of September and the phone was nearly £500. I submitted a claim but have not heard from Top Cashback in months depite chasing it with them. Quite disgusted to be honest and would not recommend people use O2 if expecting cashback cause it doesn't look like they honor it.

OK I am back and can report 2nd time around my O2 transaction went through as it should, (substantial) cashback showing in account and so far *crosses fingers* so good! Perhaps there was a glitch that's fixed now for those of us who had problems?

Yup. Same as previous commenter. I spent over 500 on a new phone and take out a contract with them for a qualifying amount, only for it to be tracked at 0.00. I cancelled the order when it became apparent I would receive the pre-ordered phone before the claim could be resolved. At the time, I could (and still can) get 100 cashback or a free Samsung 32" TV with a different merchant on a similar plan with no additional cost to me. I am about to reorder with O2 through cashback as I notice the cashback is now increased to a whopping 156. If it doesn't track, I will cancel it again and go elsewhere.

I would definitely AVOID using 02 ever again. tracked immediately but at zero pounds on a new handset and then refused to honour the £4.95 I claimed. Would have been cheaper to buy direct from Tesco even without the cashback and all the hassle of claiming.
