It’s fair to say feedback left by TopCashback members who have shopped with O2 through us is mixed. However, having said that, you will be able to read many positive O2 reviews below. There are plenty of people who have clearly been pleased with how quickly they received their cashback, with one saying: “Cashback payable to my account was bang on time — brilliant service.”

Others clearly share those sentiments, with similar comments including “tracked and paid within a month”, “really easy transaction and decent cashback rate” and “tracked quickly and paid out fast”. Our members have also praised O2 for the service they provide, with comments including “super quick and efficient service” and “brilliant — very helpful customer service”. The O2 review feedback on Trustpilot is also mixed, but there are some fantastic reviews.

One stated: “Absolutely brilliant company. The My O2 app is so easy to check your upcoming bill and offers.” Another happy customer said: “I think O2 is brilliant. Nearly two months later and after having to submit a manual claim my cashback still hasn't been approved. Be very wary if you are using this cashback as the sole reason for choosing O2. I would have been much better off going elsewhere if I don't get this money :(

After seeing the high rating for this supplier I think I may be one of the unlucky ones. I bought a phone on a 24 month contract in August and it didn't track at the time (never had that happen before with other suppliers), I've nudged TCB three times but still waiting to hear from O2 three months on .....

Unpaid cashback is worth atleast £8 million to the mobile phone companies, so they are in no hurry to pay it. To claim GENUINE cashback that is tracking at £0 or is untracked, write to the company (recorded delivery) and then use the free arbitration service at CISAS (org uk)

I took out a 24 month contract in August, the cashback tracked quickly and has just become payable today (4 October). I had been worried reading other reviews but the cashback to me was a bonus if I got it, I would have been taking out the contract anyway. Don't know if I was just lucky but I am delighted - would have been even more delighted if it was for the amount of £101 currently being offer!!

I had a similar issue to Burgasleer. Three attempts to order and refused each time on basis of credit check. Half an hour later, same information, no lottery win in the intervening 30 minutes, and suddenly I was A* again and they were prepared to accept my order. O2's online customer service is rubbish. The problem now is that the cashback (£100) didn't track, presumably because of all the messing about, and TCB are following up. Phone's brilliant though (Galaxy Ace)

Very very happy with the Blackberry I purchased from O2 and the tariffs they had to offer. Cashback made it easier to get the phone I have really wanted for ages!

Update on my previous post: Finally I have received the £50 shopping voucher after a quite a fight. I think that I have spent more than I earned in call costs to the voucher 'help line'. No sign what-so-ever of the cash-back. I've upgraded from zero star to one star because of the shopping voucher.

Foolishly, I tried again last night to order on O2, and two times the order failed! The previous time O2 blamed Equifax their credit rating company. I've checked with Equifax and with my banks and there are no issues there, so why O2 keeps knocking me back is anyone’s guess. Equifax blamed O2 bizarrely! Called O2 today and was passed from pillar to post (in between getting cut off). Eventually, an agent said that their credit team had refused the purchase but wouldn't say why. As my credit rating is exemplary, I've demanded some answers from their Credit File Referrals team by email. I await their response…. :-(

Order for 12 months SIM placed on 12th May, didn't track so submitted an enquiry. 4 months later (today September 9th) got paid. Wicked m8!

So far so good, I took a 24 month contract out for cashback on Sunday, it showed as tracked on Tuesday, so fingers crossed all going well and in a few months time should get my cashback, if not will be back to let everyone know
