It’s fair to say feedback left by TopCashback members who have shopped with O2 through us is mixed. However, having said that, you will be able to read many positive O2 reviews below. There are plenty of people who have clearly been pleased with how quickly they received their cashback, with one saying: “Cashback payable to my account was bang on time — brilliant service.”

Others clearly share those sentiments, with similar comments including “tracked and paid within a month”, “really easy transaction and decent cashback rate” and “tracked quickly and paid out fast”. Our members have also praised O2 for the service they provide, with comments including “super quick and efficient service” and “brilliant — very helpful customer service”. The O2 review feedback on Trustpilot is also mixed, but there are some fantastic reviews.

One stated: “Absolutely brilliant company. The My O2 app is so easy to check your upcoming bill and offers.” Another happy customer said: “I think O2 is brilliant. I have been on O2 for quite a few years now and I have never had any problems, either with the network or the billing.” Their customer service team comes in for praise too, with comments including “always had a great experience with O2, always helpful on chat and happy to assist”. SIM arrived today, 10th April following my order on 31st March! - contacted O2 via Live Chat to refund the charges from 7th - 9th April (they have already refunded £5 covering 1st to 6th) and have received a further £2.50 refund which I am happy with. It seems that due to the Easter Hols and O2 taking a little longer to send out SIM's than normal, this has caused a lot of uncertainty and worry about whether this cashback would be obtainable - finally everything looks on the right tracks - thanks to TCB for arranging this offer and so far, O2 have been easy to contact and have answered my queries quickly.

Still no sim or tracking on two contracts. No replacement sim either after customer service contact. Poor. Cancelling Monday like everyone else

I am in a very similar situation to NoviceAngel - no cashback or SIM. If the problems are due to O2 it is rather silly of them as they will have put me of from using them in the future.

Well my sim finally arrived today, 9th April ordered on the 31st March. So Sim's are taking an age to come through.... ...... Most worrying thing for me is STILL NOT TRACKED....... I was switching from Voda, I will have no choice but to cancel in a few days, if tracking still doesn't show. Even if it tracks at £25 initially that would be a start. Is anybody else still waiting for this deal to track some 10 days later????

I joined Topcashback on the 31st of March to enable me order the £25 O2 Simplicity Sim Card. Order was made after clearing my cookies on the same day, nine days later today, my order has yet to track, sim has not arrived even though I have been billed. I've been on another cashback site for years and have never experienced orders taking this long to track, this is a stain on Topcashback, no second chance to make a first impression !! I shall definitely be cancelling the contract and sticking to familiar ground in future.

A lot of people are saying that they have not received their sim card. I was in the same boat, I called them yesterday and they gave me two option. The first one was they would send a new sim out or 2nd one was to go to an o2 store and ask for a blank sim, then ring o2 Customer Services and ask them to assign your mobile number to that sim card (you have to give them the sim card number). Your phone number for your new sim should have been sent to you by email. Just thought that would help some people. :D

I ordered my sim card on 31/3 but the postie has yet to deliver the sim and have had no tracking for the £200 by TCB. This site was recommended by a friend so was fairly reassured they would come through with the goods. But if i dont get the sim or the tracking by the weekend then it'll be thanks but no thanks, and the sim will be cancelled while i'm still in the 14 day cooling off period.

@Jibe1978 - I'm also going to port my existing number and are pretty sure that this won't affect the cashback - the cashback is paid to TCB (and then to us) for referring people to O2, who then go on to make a purchase as stated in the offers T&C's. As long as your click through to O2 has been tracked as coming from TCB and you have also placed an eligible order (paying £25 total or more per month) then changing the number shouldn't make a diference. The offer included iphone and smartphone packages so you should be fine and get the full £200 when it gets uplifted in a few more weeks. Hi there, If a member has a PAYG O2 and they wish to go onto the 12 month sim only - they should make the transaction as normal but not transfer their number until after the transaction has completed, as the cashback offer is for new customers only. I hope that this helps. Kind regards,

TopCashback

I ordered on the 31st March a 12 month i-phone sim only deal on the basis of claiming the £200 cashback. The sim card has arrived and I have a new no. Does anyone know if you port an existing O2 no. across does this void the original contract / deal and risk losing the cashback? I've also just seen that it states it is not for i-phones yet £25 cashback is currently tracking in my account. I have 5 days left in order to cancel within the 14 day terms. any help appreciated. thanks.

Hi all - lots of you need to read previous posts as similiar worries are being expressed. Just wanted to say that Cashback is quite often tracked at a reduced amount for several retailers - not sure why exactly - but this is explained in the offer before you click on the retailers link so this should not be a surprise. Also, the £200 cashback is not a normal cashback offer by O2 to the general public (so no one at O2 will be aware of it) but has been arranged through the hard work done by the folks at TCB through affiliation etc. Next, O2 automatically issue the first bill following your order as per their T&C's - this is not unusual or underhand although I think a better process would be to wait until the SIM is activated by the customer or the first call is made before the contract / billing starts - I have not received my SIM yet and will be contacting O2 on live chat tonight to see what they recommend as they have already credited my account with £5 (refund for about 6 days). They obviously know that no calls have been made on the SIM so will offer a refund. It does seem that take-up of this offer has caused delays with O2 issuing the SIM's - not sure if people who didn't take up this offer have also experienced delays (or is it just us lot seeking cashback!)...this is how I see it and hopefully will explain a few things but I will post again when the SIM arrives or if I have to request a new one.

And another!- I ordered £25 simplicity sim on 31/03 no cards yet arrived for two phones although showing £25 pending ALSO Response from TCB "as long as you have met the criteria - ie a new customer, not an upgrade and don't cancel the contract, then there should be no reason why this would not uplift to indicate the correct offer at the time of your transaction." Not sure where these criteria were posted - not on the email from TCB informing me of the deal or on the O2 website or in their terms and conditions - is Watchdog still alive?

i ordered my sim on the 31st and i still have not received it, i rang 02 and they keep telling me to go to the 02 shop to pick up a sim there. as fo rthe cash back it was only tracked yesterday but at £25 so i emailed TCB this: i have just checked my account and it said that my cash back is £25 but when i signed up it said i would receive £200 when i sign up to a £25 contract for 12 months, is the cash back £25 for 8 months or will i just be receiving £25 only? Hi There, Thank you for your enquiry. We are aware that transactions made with this merchant may initially track at a lower amount, but will be uplifted before payment. I would hope to see your transaction uplift to show the expected cashback, as it progress, and before it reaches 'payable' status in your account. My apologies for any confusion that may have been caused here and I hope that this has helped to answer your query. Kind Regards, Laura now i am in 2 minds, should i wait and see if it increases to £200 or cancel it?????

Post has just been and still no sign of SIM cards. It was supposed to be sent out on 1 April - maybe it was their April Fools joke.

No chip from 02 so have just cancelled. If you do the same -when phoning ask for customer services- not retention. They will do it for you---mind it takes an age on the phone to speak to a human being. Very disappointing outcome reflects very badly on 02 and Top Cashback.

Useless. Just cancelled. Steer clear is the best advice! They lost my sim card. Customer service didn't call me back, and you have to wait for ages to get to speak to anyone. Am taking my business to Vodafone.

Hello all. Just had email from 02 saying that sim was posted 31st march, but still not here, but of course might come today. They have given me £5 for the "overcharge" on the account BUT SAY THAT THE CAHBACK IS TO DO WITH TOPCASHBACK AND NOT REPEAT NOT WITH THEM. so unless TopCashback issue a Statement today My sim is going back(thats if I receive it)!!!!

Also ordered ONLY due to the O2/TCB £200 promotion. This has now tracked at £25, however, I left it a little bit late and whilst the the TCB referral is showing as 23:56 on the 31st March, and I selected a qualifying deal as soon as I was redirected to the O2 website, by the time that I had filled in all the details midnight had passed (a subsequent acknowledgement email from O2 was timed/dated 00:18 01/4/10). Whilst I have faith in TCB honouring their side of the arrangement, I would very much appreciate their comment as to whether the midnight deadline applied to the the time of the referral/redirect to O2 or whether the transaction completion time will result in O2 claiming the deadline was missed (ultimately cashback comes from O2, if they don't honour it then TCB can't pass it on). Like others I do feel that if the promotion is listed as £200 cashback then it should track as such from the start, there shouldn't be any delays in confirming the uplift and certainly not beyond any cooling off period. Lastly whilst I can confirm that the cooling off period is 14 calendar days, does anyone know whether this is from when the order is placed or upon receipt of the SIM (which I too have yet to receive)? Thanks.

I have had no confirmation from either the 02 website or TopCashBack that my cashback will proceed to payout. I have contacted both 02 and TopCashBack but can't get any information. I will cancel the 02 contract within the cooling down period if I do not get some feedback soon. I think there is something deeply flawed about this system. One would think that it would be possible to even acknowledge an order. There are so many disclaimers everywhere I really think there should be a little more certainty involved before you market the proposed cashbacks.

just to say - identical experience to Member3713546455 on 07 Apr 10 - 18:43, except I did ordinary £25 sim not Backberry. just noticed that the 'new' cashback is £25. does this mean the two systems have somehow been confused and the wrong amount credited? Why are there 2 entries but both are same link? any info please?
