O2 Reviews

It’s fair to say feedback left by TopCashback members who have shopped with O2 through us is mixed. However, having said that, you will be able to read many positive O2 reviews below. There are plenty of people who have clearly been pleased with how quickly they received their cashback, with one saying: “Cashback payable to my account was bang on time — brilliant service.”

Others clearly share those sentiments, with similar comments including “tracked and paid within a month”, “really easy transaction and decent cashback rate” and “tracked quickly and paid out fast”. Our members have also praised O2 for the service they provide, with comments including “super quick and efficient service” and “brilliant — very helpful customer service”. The O2 review feedback on Trustpilot is also mixed, but there are some fantastic reviews.

One stated: “Absolutely brilliant company. The My O2 app is so easy to check your upcoming bill and offers.” Another happy customer said: “I think O2 is brilliant. I have been on O2 for quite a few years now and I have never had any problems, either with the network or the billing.” Their customer service team comes in for praise too, with comments including “always had a great experience with O2, always helpful on chat and happy to assist”. seems to be tracking at only £25 for the 12 month SIM only deal... should be £200? Hopefully it'll increase, otherwise I'll be cancelling my contract with o2 (14 day cool-off period)

I've just signed up, was on O2 Pay & Go the confirmation said too keep your number go to o2.co.uk/keepmynumber. This is the first time I've used a cash back website & not at all sure if it worked so here's hoping! If it does work its a fantastic deal.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to change the number at a later date? I need to keep my current number but do not have the PAC code right now.

I was told by TCB that the o2 have told them that you need to register as a new customer *with* a new email address (i.e. not the one that is connected to your existing contract/o2 account). Hope that helps. Although I dont know whether its true. I'd be interested in knowing about whether you can transfer your current number at a later date, as some have said this is possible with a loop hole. Hopefully more people will pitch in to the conversation before middnight on here or on the thread on MSE.

I currently have a 30 day rolling contract with O2, so I assume that signing up to a 12 month contract would be a new contract. I can't see where it says new customers only, just where it says new contract. You can click through to the O2 site okay and you can go to upgrades to get the 12 month contract (exactly the same as for new customers). Topcashback do say you can click through and shop online as normal. Can anyone clarify this?

topcashback and other cashback sites are legitimate and great ways of saving money. The O2 customer support team won't know about these cashback sites as they have nothing to do with them. You will only get cashback if you setup your new contract totally online. You can get it as an existing O2 customer (as I have) by cancelling your current contract by asking for your PAC code from them. Then take out a new contract online, via topcashback.co.uk and give O2 your PAC code you got from cancelling your previous contract, that way you transfer your old number to your new contract. That's it, simple!

Hi Why do people think this offer only applies to new customers please? I can't find any T & Cs other than printed by topcashback which are very brief?

Hi It is working now as I have just ordered one. However, received on my confirmation - referred to credit and risk. You will receive confirmtion of your order within 24 hrs. Do you think it might be because I have just given notice to end an existing contract which expires on 24 April and ordered a new simplicity sim only 12 month sim with the cashback via another site last week for my son and have just ordered one for myself via topcashback? So technically, I have 1 contract due to end in less than a month and will have 2 new ones starting this month!

The current £200 cashback on the simplicity deal as advertised is not currently working as I've tried the 3 main browsers and all I get when trying to purchase at O2 is that the browser does not support the portlet.

Hi there, Sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems, however we are getting a high number of members clicking through sucessfully so I am unsure as to why you are experiencing problems here. We are aware that these transactions will take approximately 3 days to appear on members accounts and will initially track at a lower amount. These will be uplifted to indicate the correct offer, this usually happens when they reach the confirmed stage. Regards Top CashBack

I'm trying to buy the O2 £200 cashback. I am already an o2 customer and can log in normally and purchase on line but trying to use the link through Top CashBack appears to be broken - how convenient for o2! The website says I can ring up to purchase but will this get me the £200 cash back? - I don't think so! Any help would be appreciated as this offer ends at midnight tonight!

I was told by o2 that as it was a new order it should qualify but I should check with the cashback organisation, the only warning on the site when i looked was that 1 month deals would not count so i signed up for 12 months. we should therefore qualify for a cashback. i would like some clarification of this however. i can see o2 and /or topcashback losing customers and getting bad press if this turns out wrong for people who signed up in good faith !

Why is it not clear whether it is only available to new customers? I already have an o2 contract I am cancelling and have ordered a new simplicicity sim.. If I had known I wont get it then I would DEFINATELY NOT have ordered this last night. Im stuck in for 12 months now. Has anyone bought this who is an existing o2 customer and actually recieved cashback??
