Cashback sounds fantastic but be very wary before you buy. Bought this insurance last January, it took a year before I received the cashback - and this after many Topcashback interventions, my letters to company, my many phonecalls to their customer service who made so many excuses - they even said they'd authorised Topcashback to pay when they hadn't. If you want stress then buy.

I would have given them NO STARS, if it had been an option as this 'lot' to be avoided at all costs and it will cost you! As many others have reported, waited 3 months and still no cashback! Submitted a claim and they can't trace transaction even though I rang their 'special' TopCashBack tel. no. and followed their instructions to the letter. In my view, this is tantamount to a confidence trick as I wouldn't have selected their insurance policy in the first place without the associated cashback! As normal TopCashBack customer support were great in chasing my claim but I'll repeat avoid this so called 'deal'!

Hey, I am sorry to hear that. Normally a merchant and their network will only check through transactions that have been recorded as coming through a referrer and if this is not the case the transaction won’t be found I am afraid. There can be many reasons for this and we do urge members to keep an eye on the merchant notes and terms and conditions as this should help in reducing the chance of this happening. Taken out two policies with Policy Expert and not been paid cashback for either. TCB have not been helpful in dealing with this over the last TWO years. Very disappointed:(

Hey, I can see we are waiting for the cashback network and the merchant to get back to us with information about whether or not we are eligible for this cashback. Sometimes more investigations are needed than normal which can affect the resolution time frame but our team will help as much as they can in getting a resolution as soon as possible. 5 stars just so it appears at the top - absolute filth this lot - a year of chasing a perfectly valid claim - all details submitted and after 12 months they decide not to pay as it 'cannot be traced' - despite the claim tracking from day one. AVOID people - this is becoming more and more frequent on this site I've another claim elsewhere that is no further on after 10 months as well.........

BAD _ VERY BAD - DEF NOT RECOMMEND - WORST I HAVE EVER USED! I HAVE BEEN WAITING ALMOST SIX MONTHS FOR THIS COMPANY TO PAY OUT - £70 - expected - on a £127.00 combined home/buildings insurance policy.

Don't trust this merchant as, once you've purchased your Buildings & Contents insurance policy from them, they will decline your cashback for no valid reason at all!!

Used this Merchant twice and on both occasions have received NO cashback. Very poor! I will avoid in the future.

We would advise members to check over the terms and conditions of the cashback for each merchant as there can be important information there about cashback eligibility. Big fat 0 stars ! Bought my policy in april 2015 - given all the information requested. Rang them - they say theyve paid the cashback - its with the 3rd party affiliate ! My transaction has been declined and is still going throught the claim process - noone can tell me where this missing cashback is. Waste of time :(

Hey, I am sorry to hear your transaction has been declined. A transaction will only be declined if either the transaction wasn’t eligible for cashback for example if it was a renewal or if we were not related back as the last referrer of the transaction. Normally you can query these decisions via a Missing Cashback Claim and so this may be an option you consider if you believe this has been done incorrectly. Best wishes, TopCashback Support

Do not use. If you have every been a customer for any business they will use that as an excuse not to pay. I took out a new policy which should have paid, but because I had another policy three years earlier they said I was not a new customer, so declined. Rip off merchants regarding cashback

Hey, I can see your transaction has been declined and this would only have been done if either we could not be related back as the referrer of the transaction or if an eligible transaction didn’t take place (i.e a renewal took place). Hey, The referrer is decided on by the cookies on your device. If these show another website or referrer referred you to make the purchase they will be paid rather than us I am afraid.
