I was told at the beginning of november2014 that I would receive ££50 in M&S vouchers for taking out the policy with them now in April I am still waiting! all I get is inept replies from them!

Bought home insurance for £199 back in sept 2014 the cash back had still not tracked 2 months later so at put aMissing Cashback Claim in after numerous attempts to get my cash back of £74 ive been told because ive been a customer before back in 2012 im not a new customer so im not intitled to my cash back very poor on policy expert.

Complete con. Had to wait 11 months to get this resolved only to be told that it had been rejected as not tracked. Made all the more galling as for the weeks leading up to this finally being rejected I had the company constantly phoning and emailing me to stay with them for another 12 months!

Despite going through the claims process my cashback has finally been declined after nearly a year of chasing. This company OFFER to give you cashback if you take out a policy with them through topcashback. I did not ask or negotiate for it.... they simply offered it. So why on earth would I trust them again with my home insurance when they won't even honour a "claim" as straightforward as this? I will never buy from them again and will warn everyone I know to be very wary. They are abusing the whole concept of cashback.

Purchased policy in July 2014, tracked at £0 and never uplifted. Claim has been with the merchant since then, but not hopeful anything will come of it. TCB should really show all reviews by newest first as the 5* reviews do not represent recent experiences with this merchant.

Really dissatisfied with my dealings with them. The purchase tracked at zero for well over the allocated/informed period of time. After raising a support ticked this cashback deal was then declined despite me showing full evidence of the policy I purchased through them. This meant that the policy through them worked out as more than I could have obtained elsewhere. I would certainly not recommend this provider.

Tracked at £0 and that is where it has stayed. Now been 4 months and still no sign of it going past "pending". Missed the 100 day cut off so can't raise a claim sadly.

When I purchased my policy via Policy Expert, it was an Aviva one that was sent to me and I have been an Aviva customer in the past (3-4 year's ago maybe) so was suspecting that it could be a reason for it being declined but their reason for declining doesn't state this and if it was the case it should be in their terms and conditions. Another reason could be (as stated by Topcashback) that cookies should be cleared if visiting a comparison site. I occasionally check comparison sites but never buy through them & have kept no record of whether I visited one before I purchased this & even if Policy Expert was included in the results from the comparison, I wouldn't have opened those results up and gone directly to their site. Surely visiting one should not affect the tracking if it was definitely purchased through Topcashback. I don't understand how this can happen - sounds to me like it would be too much effort for Policy Expert to solve a query like this & they simply reject. I emailed Policy Expert 2-3 week's ago and received no response

Like many others have said, this company has made avoiding the payment of cashback into an art form, ably helped by Top Cashback turning a blind eye to every negative comment made on these reviews. In my case, I contacted the company who claimed that I had made the purchase via Money Supermarket and not Top Cashback, yet the fact that my transaction tracked on Top Cashback is proof enough that I did make the purchase via this site. It's only the fact that I still do get cashback from most reputable companies, and even occasionally some insurance companies, is stopping me from terminating my relationship with TCB. This review page says that 99% plus people are satisfied with Policy Expert, yet the vast majority of recent reviewers are telling the same story, all following the same pattern before their cashback is rejected. They can't all be wrong can they? I won't be renewing my policy with Policy Expert when it's time for renewal. How can anyone trust a company that makes so much effort to avoid paying cashback be trusted to pay out for a claim?

tracked immediately. five months later declined. should have been £25 a lot to a pensioner. Very unhappy. Going with the other people I wont use again.

To add to my latest review, I notice that since Sept 13 there has only been a few transactions not declined. That's a long time. With all the money they have saved paying people they can now offer £100 to new customers.

My purchase was December 2013 and tracked at £0. After submitted missing cashback and communicating with Topcashback giving order numbers, order date etc and them chasing it up, it has been declined because 'transaction cannot be traced'. I have been with Topcashback 5 year's or more and never had a declined transaction and my tracking is working correctly and I followed all the rules. They must have a record of it as it's my policy number so Topcashback suggested it is more likely that it has not tracked through Topcashback and there is no proof I went through them. What I don't understand is don't Topcashback send all my communication about this missing claim to Policy Expert. If they do, then surely I wouldn't go to all that trouble to say I went via Topcashback if I didn't. Also if Topcashback have a record of me purchasing it through them (as I selected it as a visited merchant when I put in my missing cashback claim in) then don't they have proof of this.

AVOID: Declined a tracked, legitimate purchase. Submitted a claim complete with policy number etc - TCB have been great in trying to chase, but PE still declined with no reason. POLICY EXPERT: If I can't trust you to honour this, why would I trust you to insure a home? Try harder.

I have used this merchant twice. The first they paid the cashback . but this last time They declined to paid cashback even though I bought house insurance from a different company which PolicyExpert had offered, they seem to have classed as a renewal. So beware

Well what a con! My perfectly valid transaction was completely within all the rules and guidelines set out and tracked as expected at zero. That was 7 months ago and I had already raised a missing cashback claim. Now the transaction has disappeared from my account with no explanation and, when I asked why, I was informed that it had now been declined. This is a complete con by Policy Expert... there is absolutely no justification for it. Topcashback should wake up to the damage this kind of thing is doing to their reputation... we've had friends decide not to join when they hear about problems like this.
