Cashback tracked promptly and paid out within a month. I was switching my Aunt's gas and electricity supply because First Utility were going to be alot cheaper for her and also they were part of the Warm Home discount scheme for which she is eligible. Very easy site to navigate and everything done on-line. I hope they prove as competitive when I come to renew.

Cashback tracked immediately. Switch to First Utility went smooth. Cashback took a little longer than anticipated (16 weeks total) but correct sum paid. Very happy.

Refused to pay cash back as their network did not identify topcashback as the last referral used. Very disappointing as I know that I followed the topcashback link.
I guess it's to be expected really from a new company, they are trying to get new customers in and now don't want to pay out the corresponding cash back. Haven't completed the full switch over of my fuels yet, so cannot comment on their service.
Topcashback were however helpful in trying to chase the missing cash back claim.

Payout period was a bit lengthy and the payout amount was less than other retailers. The reason I used First:Utility was because of a recommendation from a relative based around customer service, not cash back. The cash back did track quickly and easily.

The switch to first utility for both gas and electricity went very smoothly. The first 3 bills were even cheaper than expected and definitely cheaper than with my previous provider npower.
The cashback process went well too and the sum was the one indicated.

Refused to pay my cashback (claiming that my order had been "cancelled") despite me providing evidence of having successfully signed up with them through TopCashback! Avoid unless you want to be disappointed. I will be changing supplier shortly to one that honours its commitments.

BAD BAD BAD. having spotted two other posts on the same day it appears that first utility have pulled the plug on giving out cash back. they were the cheapest deal so may be a surge of new customers was going to cost them s decided to just refuse payment.. after waiting since march I am told cash back refused with no reason. being a 4 year cash backer with well over £1000 claimed I know how to meet t&c's . I feel this is a money saving exercise by fist utility and I will be complaining direct

Have also just been told that cashback has been declined - with no specific reason.
Having used Topcashback for some time, I am confident I met all the criteria / did not use other sites before buying etc. Would not recommend switching if you are relying on receiving the cashback as you may be disappointed.

Very bad service, after choosing them to switch with, i've heard nothing from them or my suppliers, they have taken my bank details and after two months I called after waiting for ages on the phone the phone diverted to the reception of the small business centre they used and she put me through. Promised call backs, again and again. Now the chosen tariff is no longer available, so that has cost me money now, stay well clear unless you want to be messed around and kept in the dark for months and then have to start all over again.

No issues with cashback which was paid quickly, however I would avoid this provider like the plague. At least a forty minute wait to talk to anyone, usually a horrendous line where you can't hear the person you get through to. If you can hear them they don't help and just raise a ticket which remains unresolved for eternity. They transferred someone else's gas supply other than my own so ended up paying gas to two suppliers, still haven't resolved it over a year later so I've switched away. They are telling me I owe them four hundred quid for the gas someone else is using at a totally unrelated address where in fact they owe me three hundred for the gas I've paid for but not been supplied by them. All in all head bangingly frustrating and expensive.

Cheapest energy provider I have ever found. Was however shorted on the cash back, was expecting £40+ and ended up with £25 after making a complaint that the cash back hadn't tracked after 4 months. Still a good deal and I can't be bothered chasing the other £15.

First Utility is the worst supplier i have ever dealt with stay back from it if you don't want any trouble.
We have paid our bills but they keep sending us letters saying that we haven't and that they are going to send us to court if we don't pay! I wish i never got involved with them its safe to say that this was the biggest mistake of my life.

Thank goodness for the 7 working day "cooling off" period. Applied through TCB, but FU did not progress my application until I chased them. This was a warning! Watched their Twitter feed and was horrified at customer experiences. When FU provided me with an Account, name and password, it did not work. Cancelled my Application on the 7th day after reading the ONE STAR comments on TCB and FU Twitter feed. How TCB has a rating of 99.8% satisfied customers beats me! My advice is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
